Parker McCay attorneys represented the ownership group of the Hard Rock Atlantic City in the acquisition of an existing Atlantic City hotel and casino. After a successful acquisition, our team of corporate attorneys assisted the client in the reopening process including the drafting and negotiation of all commercial leases within the property.
Our attorneys also assisted this client in the application for and obtainment of an “Entertainment Retail District” designation by the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority (“CRDA”). This designation provides for certain sales, use, hotel, and luxury tax reimbursements to the Hard Rock and the CRDA. Such designation is reserved only for those projects that are deemed financially and operationally sound and that will provide a positive benefit to the City of Atlantic City.
