Ashley Varghese joins Parker McCay’s Insurance Defense department after completing her clerkship at Burlington County Superior Court with the Honorable Mary Ann C. O’Brien, J.S.C. Prior to her clerkship, she graduated cum laude from Widener University-Delaware Law School with her Juris Doctorate in 2021 and earned her Bachelor of Science from Saint Joseph’s University in 2017.

During her studies at Delaware Law School, Ashley was a member and president of the Moot Court Honor Society. She competed with a team in Albany Law School’s Gabrielli Family Law Competition and placed as a semi-finalist against teams from law schools across the nation. In the 2019-2020 year, she was voted as the Moot Court Honor Society’s Outstanding Member. Additionally, she was a member of the Transactional Law Honor Society and helped re-launch Delaware Law School’s Asian Law Students’ Association.

Ashley is from Upper Darby, PA, and she is a proud first-generation lawyer. In her free time, Ashley is involved with her church community, enjoys dance, and loves spending time with her Tabby cat, Meenu.
