Parker McCay Attorney, John C. Gillespie, Featured Speaker at New Jersey League of Municipalities Conference
Marlton, NJ, November 20, 2009 - Parker McCay shareholder, John C. Gillespie, was recently a featured speaker at the New Jersey League of Municipalities Annual Conference, held in Atlantic City, NJ.

Mr. Gillespie provided attendees with an overview of laws that impact how local government functions. Among the many topics discussed were the Local Public Meetings Act, Pay-to-Play, Access to Public Records, and Civility in Public Discourse.

Mr. Gillespie is co-chair of Parker McCay's Administrative, State and Local Government Department, and is experienced in all areas of municipal law, including governmental defense litigation, land use and development. He is a former trustee of the New Jersey Institute of Local Government Attorneys and serves as associate counsel to the New Jersey State League of Municipalities. He is a past recipient of the prestigious Robert W. Criscuolo Award, presented annually by the Burlington County Bar Association to a young attorney committed to the legal profession and the community.
